Omen

A very reclusive dragon who dwells on the outskirts of clan territory. His odd looks and muteness are not the reason he doesn't live with the other residents - rather, it is because of his clairvoyant gift. It isn't a very strong power, manifesting as just a brief vision of an event or dragon paired with a strong emotion. However, Omen's mute state makes conveying these visions quite the hassle.

What didn't help matters was his method of communication being perching atop the lairs of dragons seen in his visions. The severity of the foreseen event can be interpreted by Omen's behaviour; tapping his hind claws means generally bad luck, full on fidgeting is awful day ahead, but sitting completely still and unblinking is a near-guaranteed disaster, which ranges from serious injuries to potential life-altering catastrophes.

The more superstitious dragons believe Omen to be the source of ill luck, rather than just the messenger. Others yet believe he should take a more active involvement in preventing accidents, something he refuses to do for reasons unknown but are speculated to be 'not playing with fate'. The rest of the clan dragons aren't quite as dour, and actually see the Wildclaw's presence as a good thing, taking extra precautions to ensure whatever has been seen does not come to pass.

Despite Omen's solitary lifestyle, he's quite content living on his own, only disrupted by intruders from other clans. Though he possesses no other potent gifts than his visions, he's proven to be a rather skilled fighter, and very hardy to boot considering the conditions of the Shifting Expanse.
