Biography
His eyes seem to be constantly on fire, while it's just uncontrollable and not dangerous for the dragon themselves Fire magic. This effect appears when the hatchling absorbed a bit too much Fire magic from the environment and is changing with the dragon's mood. When the dragon with that effect, called also "Fire Primal" is excited or angry, the "fire" intensifies while when the dragon is sad,the "fire" is much smaller than in normal state. Additionally they don't seem to have teardrops, though when the dragon is crying, there can be seen steam rising up from the eyes. Despite popular belief they can see very well, their vision seems to be a bit more orange than usual dragon's vision,at least some Fire Primals say so, though it's very probable it's true as they visibly seem to see colors differently.
Cantal is one of those pretty rare dragons who absorbed much too much magic around him when he was still in egg. It was an effect of a weird accident that his egg has somehow rolled out of the safe nest and plunged into one of the numerous lava rivers in the Molten Scar. Normally Fire eggs are placed in lava but lava pools that are nests have usually the power of magic controlled, where Cantal has plunged into uncontrollable mass of lava, later turned out to be one of the points where the Fire magic is very strong. The egg has been found by the parents and put back in the nest, it didn't look anything special happened to it.
Until the day the egg hatched.
Cantal has opened his eyes and they were unusually glowing with soft,orange light and little flames were dancing around his eyes. "Cursed Fire Primal!" were the first words he heard from his mother. Of course poor Cantal didn't understand anything, but this meant his mother was considering him cursed. She also shouted at Cantal's father that it was because he didn't watch eggs carefully enough.
Cantal ran away a day later. Straying for many days, he finally ended up in Sunbeam Ruins. But he still didn't feel like he's in place, he still felt watched.
There he met Aigle who was just visiting her home flight. She's taken him to the Cloudsong.
