"What's it like to be kissed by killers?"
__Itazura was banished from his village as a young child for "fox ownership," wherein Kaguya, the Chieftess of the Hamlet in the Fox's Beloved Forest took him in as one of her own. From that point onward, Itazura was a human raised among foxes, being raised alongside Kagura and Ryoku.

During the Hamlet's first conflict with Sangeki, Itazura helped Ryoku seal the siblings' father away, albeit temporarily. After the incident, the foxes no longer trusted humans, and by Kagura's pleading and begging, Ryoku only allowed Itazura to stay under 2 conditions: 1) he be Kagura's bodyguard from that point forward; 2) he wear a mask to hide his humanity from the hamlet for the rest of time.

During Sangeki's invasion of the hamlet, Itazura was able to get Kagura out of the Fox's Beloved Forest safely, although he could not say the same for the rest of her family and the hamlet's inhabitants.

__Itazura is generally a calm and collected man with a charismatic, sweet talking exterior, of which he learned well from the foxes around him. He is, unfortunately, also easily irritable, especially in matters involving Kagura and her safety or well being. He can be harsh and rude should his temper rise too far.
