______ The duties of a Keeper are not an easy thing to uphold, especially when your primary task is not to guard a Shade monster, but a minor Deity. Nvidia, of course, voiced no complaints, carrying out her task as best as she could and keeping a professional demeanor for as long as she was able to. She wanted to be stoic and hard, making no personal connections to this God-like being, The Darkness; prisoners were dangerous, of course, and getting too fond could make you a weak link in the chain of command. But it's not so easy to be cold and harsh when you know the truth of who you're charged with Keeping--could being of the night really be inherently evil? It's hard for Nvidia to say for sure.
