When Sweetpea left her home clan, it was with the expectation of soon uniting with the Arcanist. Her mother taught her and her siblings there was no greater honor than serving him and it was her greatest wish for them to be exalted into his ranks. When GoldenFlight adopted her and took her to train in the coliseum, she learned quickly so that she could serve her deity fittingly.

But instead of sending Sweetpea away, they welcomed her into their lair. She remembers the day Thys approached her, asking her what it was that she wanted. She hadn't given much thought before to her own desires. Her mother had told them how magnificent the Arcanist was; how his power was so great it had induced the Shade twice, and she was content to serve such a great power. So when Thys asked her what she wanted, she didn't really know. The only other thing she had shown any interest in were the flowers that grew within the Gardens. Their soft colors reminded her of the clan she left behind. So she told Thys, if it were possible, she would like to spend more time among the flowers.
