How long it has been since she was last awake? Years, tens of them, perhaps even centuries? The crystallized statue was found from deep under the ground by AARNIVALKEA and KAUNA long time ago, as they instantly sensed the statue held life under the hard surface. What a curious finding indeed.
And so, Keito was forced to wake up from her eternal slumber. Before any questions could be asked, her life was bound to a piece of crystal, that the other skydancers kept close to themselves. Not sure what to do, where to go, or why it was necessary to disturb her rest, the ones bothering her gave her a simple command – to follow them.
She could instantly see through them – nothing good would come to the world if she obeyed but there she was, unable to do nothing else than to follow...

...And complain. She’d make them regret the day they dared to bind her in their service.

Soon enough Keito was introduced to the Court of Death, which actually rang some bells in her head from the time long, long ago. They were still around? Yet she couldn’t recall any descriptive detail, only the faint memory of… Perhaps fighting them in earlier days? The wave of disgust swept through her, but she kept quiet.
The less they knew about her history, the better, as none of the spirits seemed to remember her at all. Why would they remember a single skydancer among all the others.

Thankfully her duty wasn’t to help them spread the chaos through the Sornieth, no, her task wasn’t any more simple though. Keito would work undercover if necessary, but mostly ran around doing their smaller errands they weren’t bothered to do themselves. Smuggling things through clan borders was mainly her job description, all her spare time she could waste in the Forum of the Obscured Crescent, waiting for another task to follow.

Where as Keito might be bound to the Court’s service and made to obey them only because of a small crystal, she doesn’t make it any more enjoyable to them. This former statue is an absolute nuisance when she wants to be and being sassy towards every single member of the Court brings her a lot of joy towards the life.
At least until they tell to shut for once. She can continue being obnoxious other ways, keeping some sort of a noise anyways, like scratching a fork against a plate or anything similar. It might hurt her ears, but if it annoys them, that’s the sacrifice Keito is more than willing to make.

She isn’t an official member of the Court, considering she’d generally like to think she’s a decent person in unfortunate circumstances and she despises the thought of bringing any sort of misery to anyone who hasn’t harmed someone else. Even in their pasts, though, Keito isn’t known for her forgiving nature and rather she’d get rid of one lesser evil than let them possibly hurt anyone else. Too bad she’s in the Court, where she has to deal with greater evils all the time, but slowly and surely she has gotten numb towards it. She won’t accept it, but she just won’t let herself be bothered by that anymore.
She’d go insane in a week if she let her hatred towards them consume her.

Though her memories from her past are faint, she can still recall some things almost too clearly, like some major place in her past life, where she was with… Someone important. Someone that made her life feel a bit better back then. Or someone who made her blood boil back then, but where? The details are absurd, but still leaves so much to question where, why, or what.
Not that Keito misses her past memories, no. Of course it would be nice to know more about herself, but she’d have time to figure that out some other day.

Or maybe not, if only the Court would finally let her go back to rest.
