-Captain of the Dauntless, an independent trading and fishing vessel.
-No one has seen any other crew of the Dauntless. It seems like Shaw runs it herself and she's somewhat secretive about how this is done
-This surprises no one. Okay your boat is weird and haunted and maybe cursed we don't care Shaw just tell us what to do so we don't get haunted/cursed ourselves
-That is probably the reason the Dauntless trades with the Cities so very often that it's technically allied with them. Shaw doesn't feel the need to be vague around them.
-Likes semi-precious stones and should you need a favor or say, a quick ride or hide across the seas, your best bet is to slide Shaw something like a moonstone or tiger eye
-Rather friendly and congenial, she doesn't mind ferrying those who need it to different shores so long as they, ah, pay attention to the rules of the ship
-The Dauntless does have a reputation among other trading vessels/pirate ships as not so much something you should avoid, but something that should not be messed with on the rare occasions it shows up. This again surprises no one in the Cities.
-Her personal hobby is cooking and though she considers herself an amateur she's learned several recipes from around the world. She'll also meekly sit by Etzel to learn more techniques, and will serve food with the feeling of 'I hope it's okay'. She likes seeing people eating.
