the goddess's beau

While many thought Stella as untouchable, a quite pompous and prideful dragon thought otherwise. Tarique was said to be just a normal drone of the Stella Corpus, a citizen or soldier whatever the time may call. However despite his calling, many could not deny his looks and stature. Tarique was among the prettiest dragons in the flight, but he wasn't all looks. True perhaps the fact went to his head quite a bit, and perhaps his pride did let him believe he was truly the beauty amongst the Stella Corpus, but nothing could of smitten him more then when his eyes laid upon the figure of Stella herself. He was absolutely enamored by her, and with that he tried to get as close as he could. Like Icarus to the Sun, many called him foolish for even thinking he could pursue Stella. Many before him tried and were just struck down from the Heavens. But he was not like most males. He waited and bide his time, earned her trust, her friendship. Right away did he not pursue her romantically, after all despite his ego and way of being, he knew how to treat a lady, especially one was ethereal as Stella. And for that, it worked out for him.
