"Look, Radia's in charge here - I just handle the money, see. Whatever she says, I do, and whatever I do, I check with her first. It's a good system. Go on, then - you're buying, aren't you? 'Cause if not, I'm gunna have to ask you to leave."

No one is really certain how Radia and Clove ended up with the Wanderers - really, no one's entirely sure why they stay, either. They don't seem entirely pleased to be among the rest of the clan, paranoid about their funds and goods being swiped, but they probably stay because no one else will let them in. Leif expresses open uncertainty regarding them, but likely allows them residence because she pities them - and Prancer insists that they tell good enough stories to stick around. So long as they don't scam any of their clanmates.
Seeing as Blitz hasn't yet escorted them out, it can be assumed they're well enough behaved.

Clove in particular came from the Pillar of the World itself, and he set off feeling just a bit unwelcome among his clanmates. Probably because he would always try and sneak extra rations of seafood from everyone else, which wasn't very appreciated - but at a young age, he began wandering on his own.
He get tired within three days, found another dragon here or there, and promptly latched onto them. He convinced them to lead him around a bit, provide for him since he was oh-so-lost and hungry, and whenever he came across someone more suitable, he drifted onto the next. Like this, he traveled around the world until reaching one crossroads, where he was lost and abandoned.

He sat there, convinced his companion would return for him, for at least two weeks. He managed to get scraps from travelers who took pity on him, but ultimately, he was left to waste away - until Leif stumbled upon him. She stayed with him for about a day or two, waiting for someone else to come about - seeing as their relative species were typically unable to communicate. Finally, a Guardian on their Search came about and served as a translator - and Clove was more than happy to follow the little Fae all the way to the Gladekeeper's land. She fed him well, after all.

When he came to the clan, he was immediately met with Radia, the only other Coatl present. Suddenly, he was followed by her wherever he went, and quickly caught onto the fact that it was no longer his turn to take advantage of anyone else. He quickly became the merchant's right-wing-dragon, and they seemed to grow very close; or rather, he grew to learn she was not one to be messed with, and he was the only other dragon of interest to her. And her temper was far worse than others he'd encountered.

He likely would have moved on by now, but the food and Radia would never allow it.
