"She left! She was brave to leave..." Kamakshi trailed off, twining a thread of plant nervously through her claws.
"And you can be brave too! But you must take the leap," the old snapper asserted stoutly. "You have already become brave, you are here with me instead of there with them."
Kamakshi was the second to last one to hatch, beating her little sister Saxa by a heartbeat's time. After the fortuitous birth of her brother and older sister, she was a welcome, if not especially heralded addition. Nervous and shy, she thinks out everything she does before she does it. She is very secretive, and often no one knows what she's really up to.
Kamakshi has discovered the truth of how the clan treats those that do not believe in the ultimate divinity and providing love of the Plague Mother. She knows about the prison known as the Pit where dragons await their fate as servants.More frightening to her than that, however, is her knowledge that the faithful of Tva’Kadith will also give their young to the glory of the Plague Mother. She is not one of the Favored Ones, a dragon destined to rule in the clan, and she knows that perhaps her time walking this earth may be limited as her father is the most faithful of all.
