CaramelApple is quite an oddity to most dragons. Instead of swimming in the water, they teach to swim on it. And not only that, but they also use sailing, an art usually taught by Wind dragons that live at the boarder of the Windswept Plateau and the Sea of a Thousand Currents. And not to mention, they are by element a plague dragon.
So how in Sornieth did CaramelApple find this peculiar job?
Well, they used to be a traveler. Before they settled to work as a sailing instructor, they traveled through Sornieth mainly on land. Having no family or clan to call their own, they just explored, learning of the world by themselves.
This is exactly what brought up their interest of sailing. They saw this practice when they explored the borders and, thanks to kind clans, learned how to do it, even without the magic of wind or water, leading them to use in in a traditional way.
They used sailing for travel too, which is what brought them to the beach resort in the first place (accidentally may I add).
