ABOUT -

» Serious, grumpy, sarcastic, detached, cold; all words that those who somehow met this illusive dragon would use to describe her. This solitary reptilian seems to always have some reason to skip the family diners, even resorting to a blunt “I don’t like you” to get out of the situation. While she might seem rude and selfish, she is quite humble and caring, distancing herself from her family to avert any worry or concern they may feel for her.

» She is highly intelligent and clever, but due to her rejecting the chance to be educated on manners of arithmetic, etiquette, and literature, she falls quite short when it comes to functioning well in the developed dragon society, coming off as brutish and neanderthal like. Her reading and writing skills are barely even rudimentary, and her social graces completely absent.

» Her physical build consists of tight, defined, stringy muscles and petite joints. Her coarse hide is decorated with nasty scars, the gorgeous color patterns underneath warped and distorted by the injuries of the past. She is surprisingly elegant and beautiful, but the cavalier and concise way she holds herself erases any notion of charm.

» The way she moves and fights is like a ribbon in the wind. She practically dances and twirls around her opponent, in swift, fast motions that are meticulously planned and sharply accurate. Despite her graceful and keen actions, her attacks are vicious and cruel, completely devoid of any compassion or mercy, seething with unbridled, violent fury.

HISTORY -

Scintilla and Ultramarine had three daughters; Hirriō, Sīca, and Viridis. Her mother had originally come to The Scarred Wasteland in order to mate with Ultramarine in order to grow her clan. But soon after her children’s hatching, Scintilla was overcome with a horrible Plague sickness passed on to her by her immune mate. Unable to return to her clan until she recovered, Scintilla and her children were forced to stay in the violent outback of the Plague region. The sisters grew up surrounded by violence and horror, affecting them down to the depths of their soul.

Viridis grew to be shy and quiet, hiding away in her lair to shield herself of the terrors of the outside. Hirriō came to be loud, confident, and wild, flourishing and adapting to her surroundings and taking the lead of her sisters. Sīca grew to be a midpoint of her sisters, equally as savage and confident as Hirriō, but as antisocial and silent as Viridis. Sīca saw Hirriō as everything she could be, brave, well liked, strong. Sīca trained her hardest, competed, and trained with her sister on the daily, one of the few bright memories of her dark childhood.

But as the young dragons aged, they became restless and resentful. All 3 of them blamed their father for keeping them in this hellhole. Although both Hirriō and Sīca thrived in this violent region, they yearned to return to their promised land of nature and peace. It wasn’t until their late teenage years did their mother start to recover, but it was too late. Just months before the sisters would find out they were returning home, Hirriō ran away, fleeing south to The Windswept Plateau, joining the Windsinger army to fulfill her dreams of Plagueless battle and glory. Sīca and Viridis were shocked and grief stricken, their resentment of their father growing as they finally returned to their promised clan alongside their healed mother. Sīca, unable to stand living in the place that was torn away from her sister, set off independently to find both her sister, and her own purpose.

OTHER NOTES -

» There are few beings that Sīca would ever be social with, with the exception of her dearest littermate and sister, Viridis, as well as her familiar Sanguis. When with her sister, her only safe place and confident, Sīca becomes gentle and relaxed, but still quiet and guarded.

» Despite her large amount of scars, Sīca takes great pride in her appearance, like her mother. Though hazardous, she wears the least amount of protection possible to show off her colorful hide. Doesn't help with hiding her identity unfortunately.

» She hates water with a sizzling passion. The feeling of it on her makes her sick. Cowers under anything the second she feels rain in absolute terror.
