Biography

Uh-oh, looks like this adventurous snapper wandered a little too far from her home lair, and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here, or to the hub if you don't want another dragon in return. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

"Hmm, where to go next?"

I grew up in a pretty forest bustling with friendly dragons. The dirt paths, the sweet-smelling cafes, and the clothing shops have been great, however, I have always longed to see the world outside of my guarded forest home. I hope I can gather many memories from the world I may see.

Original owners note: Feel free to add more about her travels!

Tidalgaze - Aestus Clan

My first travel landed me in the Tsunami Flats, with a friendly clan. Dragons cheered when they saw me, I guess they like travelers. It was more barren then my homeland, but the dens were cozy, and the dragons respected me. Their leader said I could stay for a while, in fact another traveler had just left, so they had plenty of room! There was a pair of travelers who I talked to for a bit, but I talked around to almost every dragon there! It was loads of fun!

TipsyKipsy - The Wandering Clan

The next clan I stopped with called themselves The Wandering Clan. When I joined them, it was nearly dark, and there was a thunderstorm coming in. I've seen some bad weather before, but I've never been caught outside in it!
Luckily, I was welcomed quickly by a Snapper named Fleiss - I'm one of the oldest in my home clan, but Fleiss is so old compared to me! She found me a place by a huge fire that had been started, and told me to make myself comfortable while she got some supplies for me. I was worried that the fire would go out in all the rain, but a few dragons had flown into the trees to spread some cloth. Fleiss came back with some food and blankets, and explained that the cloths were oiled to keep the rain from coming through. The wind would be unpredictable, she said, so it might not block all of the rain, but it would keep the fire from being doused. Even the blanket she gave me was oiled on one side! Other dragons were already curling up under their own blankets, and Fleiss stayed near me so that I didn't feel lonely. She was really nice. I was warm and comfortable through the storm, and I don't think I woke up even once.
The next morning I realized just how "The Wandering Clan" got its name! Right from daybreak, everyone packed up and started moving. It wasn't a hurried pace, and the clan is big enough that even if a couple of dragons stop for a snack break, they won't have left the group by the time they get moving again! It was really interesting seeing the way the group moved. It reminded me of a flock of birds! A really slow flock of birds, but still.
As much as I had fun with them and learning about their lifestyle, I wasn't done exploring on my own! They wished me farewell, and Fleiss told me that if I ever wanted to visit again, I'd be welcome. It seems like it'd be hard to find them except by accident, but I do hope I see them again someday!

WurldPeaz - The frozen stronghold
I traveled south in the bitter cold to the Fortress of ends. It was amazing that anything Ould survive in this climate! There at the base of the icy prison a large clan had made a settlement there known as the Frozen stronghold. There were many secrets that were not about to be shared, I was told that some of which I was better off not knowing. I did know that under the settlement a large portion of the clan slept in the caverns guarded by a ferocious Gaoler that would tear apart any that dared enter the caverns. It was like the minotaur to the labyrinth and to be caught by it was surely death. That extinguished my curiosity a bit but, I couldn't help but wonder who or what they were hiding down there. During my stay I met a nice snapper named Abel and together we had a nest of hatchlings. The timing was bad though since the clan was moving north for a few months, some of it anyways. some would remain behind to guard the Icewarden's prison, others gathered to make the long journey to the shadow binder's territory. From what I was told it was a recon mission to keep a low profile while searching for any signs of the shade while they were there. I remained behind with my children for a little while before they would go and serve their warden.

Spooner - The Ruins

My next stop was at a strange place, deep in the desert. Like, I'm not really sure which way I went, but somehow I came upon this fascinating... ruin... cave... place? Now, I know that saying 'fascinating ruin' sounds odd, it's like saying 'awesome broken thing', but hear me out - the more I tried to explore it, the more dead ends I ran into! Isn't that fascinating? It really felt like someone was trying to stop me from getting inside! So cool! So of course, I had to get right to the middle of it. I am really one for getting to the middle of these things.

...Eventually, a dragon showed up and told me I had to leave, because I was going to 'ruin the magic' if I kept trying to get inside. Not cool.
