Sariel Polvak, Lady of the Mourning Court, Arcanist of the Veil, and Ambassador of an unknown country. A lady of the court and a masterful tactician, she could be considered a dangerous opponent and should be approached with caution if you have any ambitions for trying to outmaneuver her. She’s a charismatic socialite who isn’t afraid to strike you down. When she isn’t busy re-imagining famous battles from the pages of history, she’s planning high-end weddings, expensive soirees, and other lavish events.
Her inventory includes the following:
A spellbook that curiously seems to drink in the light. It has a usable quill that can be pulled from the spine and disappears if the book is not used for ten minutes -- it does not need ink. The book’s style and color seems to shift with her mood. Sariel also claims that the book loves social events just as much as she does, and will misbehave if it feels like it’s missing out.
A dagger that can be called into existence and dismissed when not in use. It has a leather wrapped handle with a ruby in the pommel, and some strange runes carved into the blade.
Her current familiar, a white, ball-jointed doll of a dragon. It makes a clattering noise as if in response when spoken to without actually moving. It doesn’t move on its own when observed but the moment you turn away...
