A Ridgeback’s aversion to water can be justified when you take a look at its affect on Jack-Tar. A freak flooding incident trapped his clan underground surrounded by water. Jack-Tar the sole survivor of this unfortunate incident, has lost forced their clan was trapped Living in the deep murky depths for years has had a negative affect on Jack’s appearance. His once strong scales now flake off when he brushes against the stalagmites covering his domain, coating them with greasy black flakes of dead skin. The water has deteriorated his skin into loose fleshy folds of rot, marred with barnacles by funky algae growing all over him, etc. he can't even be out of water for too long without becoming exhausted/sick. He made a device that hydrates him when he needs to travel distances. Arame’s little lake dried up though as time passed pushing him closer and closer to land. h had no choice but to leave his lake (now little pond). On his search, he came upon a series of narrow canyons. Incredibly lost he decided to rest for the night. He burrowed a hole into the side of the canyon and came crashing straight through. Stunned, he discovered himself in a market place bustling with dragons.



Reports of dragons missing in the Chasm has spiked recently and caused a bit of alarm in the marketplace.
