Biography

pEe2DaL.png Ilheilya | Lone Shaman
Ilheilya has set her roost up in the crook of the northern cliff of Lion's Rock, an island made up of pillars of earth that breached from the sea. It wasn't everyone's paradise but it was hers. Company was few and uncommon, but the calls of gulls are welcoming to her and the smell of salt on the wind greeted her every morning that she waked. Every once in a while a sailor will find their way to her shores, but this place has long been abandoned by others. A bustling harbor once live with habitants lies degraded and eroded by the winds, constantly battered by the persisting waves.
Twice a day the waters extends its reach over the docks until it is swallowed by the ocean, leaving only the rooftops. And it keeps sinking deeper and deeper with each passing month.

She collects the loose boards from the buildings for firewood, sometimes finding and gathering the trinkets left behind. Either to simply admire them or to use them for herself. On rare cases that a sailor does come to her home they'd find her home cluttered with them. Not in a way that is disorganized, but they would litter the cave walls and the ceiling. The hundreds of metallic little nik-naks twinkle like stars when the light touches their surface, threaded along nets and string.

Every sailor that has left had brought one with them as a gift.

She used to be in deeply in love with a sailor named Nire, until an illness befell him and he succumbed to his fever. She used what remained of her magic to try and heal him desperately. His soul shattered as a result and gave live to dozens of new beings; wisps.

Ilheilya was one of the oldest shamans. She's a retired priestess, and while she still carries her magic she cannot wield it the same way she used to before. It has waned, leaving her capable of only simple tasks. She does not mourn her loss, but embraces it.
