Paruah is a strange spiral that has confused and caught the attention of anyone that catches sight of him due to his abnormal anatomy. Unlike the thin noodle-like body of a regular spiral, Paruah's body type is plumper with wool growing along his body. Born to a normal pair of dragons, not even the keenest arcane scholar could pinpoint the cause behind his unusual body structure. To create even more of a contrast to other spirals, he is not able to speak normally, and typically communicates through "baah" sounds and swift hand gestures, but he normally doesn't have a lot to say anyway.
He's not the brightest of dragons, though it doesn't seem like he has a pursuit for knowledge anyway. The spiral seems to care more about gathering flowers alongside hi friend Apis, in which they create mixtures of the various flora they've gathered and eat them together in a giant salad. Paruah can sometimes intrude other dragons' gardens, unaware of his trespassing, and may consume their flowers, making him be considered a pest to some grumpy residents of the oasis. Luckily, Apis is normally nearby to direct him to a different patch of flowers that doesn't belong to anyone.

Paruah has a strange relationship with Zuphlas. One would think that, since Zuphlas grows flora including flowers, he would also consider Paruah to be a pest that invades and consumes his precious plants, however, the two seemed to have come to an agreement and perhaps have even become friends. Zuphlas sometimes struggles with pruning his plants and keeping them from restricting movement in his greenhouse, and thus, he's employed Paruah to eat away at his overgrown plants to ensure they won't get out of control. The nocturne actually tried to pay him in treasure in the past, though after he tried eating the coin, Zuphlas concluded that being able to eat his plants was its own reward.

tumblr_ph64flyTl71wgebr5o3_250.png Paruah is a social dragon, and doesn't do well on his own. If he's left by himself, he will begin to follow anyone he sees nearby, or just sit by himself until he spots someone. The locals had quickly learned that the spiral doesn't actually want anything besides their company, so he's become a bit of an outlet for dragons to talk out their problems and get off their chest while giving him company. Because of this, he's ended up being entrusted with even the most embarrassing or darkest secrets of the swamp's residents, since he isn't able to understand them anyway, or so they think...
