Casziel

In the soft light of a single candle, Arlo gathered a few things he was going to be needing. Casziel was perched on the desk, feathered wings pulled close to his slender body as he followed his tundra friend with icy, over-sized eyes. Such was the way coatl hatchlings looked, but it didn't make it any less unnerving for a select few dragons.

"Are you ready to write a few letters, Casziel?" Arlo's low voice rumbled from deep within his chest as he returned to his desk, the coatl hatchling quickly scurrying into a sitting position, nodding his head until the feathers on the sides of his heads shook and quivered from the force of the small dragon throwing his head up and down. A large paw slowed Casziel's nodding, a rare smile curling onto the tundra's face as he reached for the quill settled in its ink well, dipping the tip of the feather in the abyssal-colored liquid before handing it over to Casziel.

"Alright, go ahead. Make your first letter count, okay? If you're going to be helping future hatchlings, you're gonna have to know how to write." The large tundra watched as his tiny coatl friend started to scribble onto the parchment, mouth wrapped around the quill. Writing was hard for hatchlings, but Casziel would get a grasp on the skill eventually...hopefully.

The pair would be helping new dragons from far and wide soon enough.
