After his children were attacked and after the attacker's demise, Alphus felt that even death wasn't enough of a punishment for the attacker and wished for judgement in the attacker's afterlife. With his mother and father's permission, Alphus created Omera, the Goddess of Judgement and overseer of the afterlife. Upon hearing of the crime committed against Alphus' children, and in a way, Omera's niece and nephew, Omera accepted Alphus' request in punishing the attacker, and any who sinned against humanity from then on, seeing that this man certainly won't be the last.

Using her power and given her own realm to rule, Omera created eight sections of the Judgement Realm, and created seven henchmen to run them- each representing the Seven Deadly Sins.

The final section, she made into her office, room, and lobby for new arrivals. The lobby, she jokingly named Limbo, but seeing as occasionally she would receive some arrivals that don't necessarily belong anywhere, the name stuck.

Omera does have only one son, despite the unspoken rule forbidding the divinity from intermingling with mortals. After leaving the Sins in charge of the Judgement Realm while she takes a 'Curiosity Tour' to the Mortal Realm, Omera meets a dark elf and has a Demi-God son, but upon discovering his arrival, Omera pleaded with Alphus and Soulan to make her son just a dark elf, like his father, and to grant him mortality. They compromised and told her that instead of being a dark elf, they'll make him appear as a lesser demon and give him telekinesis.

Despite her position as the Overseer if the Underworld, Omera is actually very compassionate and very forgiving. She often tries to see things from the other point of view before deciding one's fate in the afterlife.
