HI! WELCOME TO GRAYGARDEN!

There are no loudspeakers at Graygarden. It's not really a needed thing, to be fair, but it seems like it might be useful considering the sprawl of the fields, no? There's not even an alarm signifying raider attack, which is a bit more unusual. Raiders aren't an uncommon occurence after all.

There is a good reason for the lack of noisemakers, though. They don't need one.

They have AUDIOLOOP instead.

AUDIOLOOP arrived at Graygarden a while back and since then she has plied her family's trade of being VERY LOUD. Most of the time she's down by the docks as a kind of greeter; one knows they're approaching Graygarden when one begins to hear her voice echoing in the distance. Most of the time it's a simple loop of -

HI! WELCOME TO GRAYGARDEN!

- but every now and then she can be convinced (aka bribed) to say something else at top volume for hours. In this way she serves as a particularly stubborn advertisement for any and all visitors. Many of said visitors give her more money to turn the volume down, please dear god. It's a pretty lucrative business.

Character Notes
• Insists her name should be SHOUTED LOUDLY in her family's tradition. Nobody can really manage it like she can but some of them make an attempt every now and then.
• Sends garish postcards back home to her parents. She can't be loud audibly so she'll be loud colorfully instead. Occasionally sends presents home too cause she makes a killing what with everyone bribing her.
