Is a firefly a firefly if it can't glow? Scorch, a firefly, had no fire. Maezy is a magic nature blacksmith warrior (don't ask, it's complicated) On a rainy day they were enjoying the intricacies of the ground, beautiful dirt, the tiny remnants of minerals, grass, other non grass but grassy things like clovers n stuff. It's cool. While looking at the ground they noticed a firefly, who seemed to be trying to get their attention. Mae, sporting sick as hell looking gauntlets, lowered their talons and expressed "speak." (normally they'd say more but their voice was hoarse bc they sang mindless self indulgence at the top of their voice 23 minutes ago) The firefly said "First off, your gauntlets are really awesome, slay." She struck a pose. "Second, I can't glow" She wiggled her abdomen. "Help a bug out, would you? Also my name is Scorch" Mae nodded, they knew just what to do. Time skip 2 minutes, they're in the house. Mae brew some lemon tea to help with their hoarsyness. |

Another time skip, tea finished, hoarseness much better. They're in their ominous smithy/potion room. "Okay, drink this." Mae handed Scorch a very tiny firefly sized glass bottle with a purple-white glitterly swirl colored potion conatined within. glug glug glug "This bussin" Scorch proceeded to collapse into a trillion luminescent particles and reformed into a ghastly cloud. "Come hither, this is your new home." Mae commaned, holding a badAAA skull and pointing. Scorch slithered into the skull "Thank you so much bro, I can finally live out my dreams of being a glowing dragon ghost snail with a skull for a shell." Now Mae has a cool skull possessed by a firefly, nice. |
