If you ever asked someone what a "normal girl" looked like, Jen would be the perfect example. She's a simple young dragon; She goes to school, she has fun with her friends, she paints in her free time... On the surface, there's nothing extraordinary about this dragon. She's just a happy, loving, carefree young dragon that wants to grow up and life a normal, happy life.

But deep down, she's more than meets the eye. You see, as a hatchling, Jen was given the ability to harness the very essence of life. She can heal other dragons' battle wounds or illnesses, she can grow plants and create lifeforms from practically nothing, and, with enough focus, she can accomplish even more powerful feats. She has a long way to go before she's able to harness the full extent of her powers, but she's already something truly special.

Though she possesses these strange powers, she's reluctant to ever use them. As said before, she wants to live a normal life. Normalcy and strange magical life powers don't exactly go together in her book... She's scared that other dragons her age will be afraid of her if they know about her abilities. So, for the good of everyone (or so she thinks), she hides her powers as much as she can. Only a few dragons (Namely her family and her closest friend Mike) know the power she harnesses, and she wants to keep it that way.

That can't always stay the case, though. Despite her young age, she and Mike (who has vowed to protect her and become her knight of sorts) are often called upon to protect the very balance of life and death itself. This has come at the cost of losing one of their closest friends, Blaze, to the dark side... Jen regrets that every day, and is still fighting the dark forces in hopes to bring Blaze back and apologize for everything she'd done. Still, it's a lot for a young girl to have to go through.

What a strange double life indeed...
