Born as part of Mote's project to have an offspring with a female of every breed Light Weaver was hatched during the Brightshine Jubilee. Something about the little Fae set him apart from his siblings. He had a glow about him he sparkled in the colors of light. While his brothers accepted exaltation Light Weaver knew he was destined for more. Taking a cue from his name the little Fae began to weave. First he just experimented with making string from grass or weaving the blades together into dusty little blankets. Older dragons noticed this and guided his explorations. Blue Sora gave him some old towels to examine and from them he figured out the basics of weaving.

Light Weaver wasn't content to simply work with plant and animal fibers. He began experimenting with weaving magic into his tapestries. Drawing from the abundant sunlight that time of year he managed to weave a banner of sparkling gold. Though he had not died the materials he found once he was completed that the emblem of light flight shown in the middle of his banner. Light Weaver made more of these much to the interest of his clan leader. She suggested he try nature flight but not understanding how the magic worked the little Fae was unable to change his design. Still he worked on making several banners for any dragon who was interested.

Had he confined himself to weaving Light Weaver may have been welcomed in the clan for a long time. Unfortunately he had other hobbies that put him in conflict with his clan mates. Light Weaver had a fondness for spiders. They had inspired him when he was learning to spin and weave and he considered them some of the most beautiful animals in the world. While most Fae simply ate spiders whenever they saw them, Light Weaver tried to keep them as pets. This brought him into direct conflict with Mamilia and Lavendel who had taken over as the clan's gatherers when their mother Circe had retired to the ambassadorial hall. It was long-standing clan policy that spiders were to be eaten as soon as they were caught because they competed with the insectivore dragons for Food. Light Weaver's busy rescues of his eight legged pets caused all sorts of trouble for food procurement for the clan.

Once she knew them she could take over their creation and Light Weaver could be sent away.

The little Fae was pleased to have an older and more popular dragon take an interest in him. He showed Coil the technique he used and helped her make her first banner. It was then the clan leader and the discontented wild claws descended on him and informed him it was time to pack his bags and find somewhere else to live. Arkar informed the little Fey that because of the impressive gifts he had created she would allow him to seek a home in another clan rather than be exalted. Perhaps another group of dragons would be receptive of his talents and tolerant of his pets.
