When Petal absconded leadership, Amaryllis took over. When she first tapped into the power of the Glen and Glademother her eyes shown with the power of the natural world around her; since that moment Amaryllis' eyes have been strange compared to most Dragons. She is young, and not all members of her clan think she's ready to be leader yet, but she leads with undeniable grace.
history
Amaryllis was brought to Clan Deviation by Petal as a hatchling. Petal, graced with the Sight, knew from the moment she lifted Amaryllis that the Coatl would someday replace her as Clan Leader. Petal, both mournful and relieved, raised Amaryllis without ever speaking of her fate to anyone; Petal wished for Amaryllis to be able to choose her own path, and live a childhood free of the pressures of expectation.

After Petal lost her Sight, she knew that the time had come to step down as Leader. Petal had relied on her Sight to make decisions for the Clan in the past, and she knew that without it she did not have the right disposition or instincts needed to keep the Clan safe. While the Clan was without a leader, there was a raid done by a group of Beastclans members. It is then that Amaryllis tapped into the power of nature itself and hid her Clan within the forest, making trees grow quickly and paths re-arrange themselves so that the Beastclan members became disoriented, eventually leading them to give up their fight.

Falling into the Leadership position after that came naturally in the wake of the chaos. When it was done, she offered to step down so an elder could take her place but the majority of the clan agreed that she was the best fit for the job.

She leads the clan while holding the ideals of compassion, love, and loyalty close. But be warned; just because Amaryllis would prefer to break bread with her enemies than to fight does not mean her incapable of doing so. The Wild of nature lives within her, just under the surface; if called to defend her Clan she would do so without hesitation or remorse.

In her spare time, Amaryllis can be seen traveling her territory, molding her Nature magic at her whims, stitching together new life and encouraging growth and vitality throughout her lands. When she lays in the brush her body shimmers into her surroundings, blending in and camouflaging from any who might think her peaceful nature means easy prey. They soon find themselves mistaken. It also makes for good mischief, as Amaryllis uses this ability to play tricks on her clan members, much to the elders displeasure.
