Biography
Strong, fast, cheerful, and talented, she is a good friend and an even better healer.
A happening: She is now Plague-Touched, marked by the Contagion - one bleeding-heart spot on her chest, one on her back, and one uneven splotch of red in her left eye.
Living things grow and change. She does not understand the mind as she would a body, not even her own; but that no longer frightens her. Now, her greatest fear is truly for others. She wishes only to protect them, to keep them safe. She fears the possibility of failure more than anything else. She is determined not to let her nightmares devour the day.
Ambrose of House Vyrinna played a key role in the battle against Majesty, alongside her wife, Nokk. When she and Nokk returned to Sornieth, they set about the unenviable task of rebuilding the clan in the wake of the double calamity of Lady Black's coup and the attack of the emperor Vengeance. With Nokk crowned queen, Ambrose was made Queen-Consort of the Deepwing Clan. As part of her new role, she became the head of the clan's diplomatic corps and immediately set about expanding the Deepwing Clan's influence within other territories.

Some time after Nokk's ascension to Queen, Nokk and Ambrose took a trip to Dragonhome to help defend Ambrose's family from increased Beastclan activity. When they arrived, they found that a local Serthis clan was going through a more violent upheaval than usual, and it was making the surrounding clans unsafe. Nokk, Ambrose, and their guards - Stormcrash, Mistrune, Ripper, and Prima - helped drive a faction of Serthis away from Ambrose's old clan. When the fighting was over, Ambrose and Nokk discovered an unhatched fire egg. Nearby was a dead skydancer who had been slain by the Serthis only moments before Nokk and Ambrose had arrived.
The pair immediately rescued the egg and returned to Ambrose's clan, where it was quickly discovered that no dragon there was prepared to take on an egg. Ambrose quickly decided that they would care for the egg themselves, and prepared to return to the Sea.
On the journey home, the egg hatched, revealing a frail, sickly tundra chick. Worried about the consequences of bringing a fire hatchling to the Sea, especially one so young and ill, Ambrose diverted the party to the Ashfall Waste, where she tended to the hatchling - named Albertine - until it recovered. Mistrune and Stormcrash were sent back to the clan to inform them of the new development, while Ripper and Prima stayed behind with the Queens.
Eventually, Albertine was well enough to make the journey home, and the rest of the party returned to the Leviathan Trench. Albertine is now the adopted son of Nokk and Ambrose, although Sunset is still the Heir.
