A slime dragon capable of devouring and grounding out spells that target him or that are cast in close proximity to him. He is Annabel's mate (except for the whole thing with Gumdrop). His capacity as an antimage is highly useful to the clan warriors. Of course his abilities are not without limits. If he is not suitability prepared for an incoming elemental attack, then he may be less likely to diffuse its energy. Certain direct attacks can be harder to deal with than others. The more complex the magical working, the easier it is to disrupt (generally). He can also absorb and corrode many physical materials and absorb them. Particularly organic ones. He can use all of these absorbed resources to cast his own spells. Using magic depletes his reserves and makes him smaller. However, absorbing too much (magic or otherwise) can lead to severe downsides, and is highly disorienting as his mind and will is unable to manage his larger body effectively. He is not otherwise particularly skilled in combat, but he can use his talents to great effect in the right situations. He spends his spare time with Annabel and the astronomer. He is close with Sovri. The king serves as a teacher and mentor when he can spare the time. He was not always an ooze. |
