Curator of the Quarry of Time

After Sargas brought news of the Ancient Breeds, and immediate message was sent from the House of Hourglass to the fabled Quarry of Time. This legendary place was the site of the multiple excavation sights whose ancient & mysterious contents coincided with the disappearances of archaeologists. Protected by the Dragonhome Preservation Guild, the Quarry of Time was kept secret in the overseeing clan for fear that robbers might steal the artifacts. However, in the wake of the first clawful of vanishings, the Quarry’s existence was forced to be revealed.

Weeks passed before the message was received and the curator of the Quarry himself, DuskChaser, arrived in the House of Hourglass. His numerous logbooks of discoveries and disappearances had rattled him to his core. The dusty coatl always seemed unsettled; dust trailing him as he waddled everywhere with mountains of books, scrolls, and instruments in hand. DuskChaser had even more to worry about after his pupil Velya reported her apprentice Fetter missing. Upon entering Thunder-Arrow, DuskChaser immediately went to work using the clan’s abundance of resources to aid his search for his comrades. His mate Artemis, who assured Anwyn, soon joined him and the House of Hourglass that her mate was simply determined to solve the mystery before anyone else disappeared…including himself.
