A self proclaimed musical prodigy and hopeless romantic, Phantom possesses a fiery passion for performance arts. He takes pride in maintaining a cool, affable demeanor, sometimes flourishing his movements with a cape swish and a shower of rose petals. Though calm and unfazed by most things, he becomes louder and grandiose when performing - especially when deeply entrenched in a role. Coupled with his knack for illusions - or more accurately, stage magic - he's a wonderful performer to watch and a tricky foe to outsmart. Declaring to have a "sixth sense" for the arts, Phantom was the first dragon to appear in Fable Grove after clan leader Zia made her decision to start up her performance troupe. He was met with suspicion by Anios and unease from Goby, but Zia was ecstatic to have someone eager to join them so soon. Unfortunately, Phantom didn't share the sentiment; to him, Zia was merely a silly young girl who knew nothing about his passion. Rather than work with her, he simply brushed her aside and attempted to fashion the troupe after all of his own ideas. Anios however quickly saw through this and called him out on it while they were alone, causing tension between the two. Only when Phantom directly insulted Zia to her face did the Ridgeback take action. Angered at how he treated someone who had done nothing but welcome him with open wings, Anios challenged him in combat. Though she clearly out muscled him, Phantom compensated for this by fighting with trickery and deception. In the midst of the heated battle, Zia eventually interrupted. She agreed with Anios' feelings that Phantom was being needlessly arrogant, but she also agreed with the Wildclaw that he had much to offer - especially after seeing his movements and tactics in combat. Zia believed he could make good use of it for choreography, saying that she would still be willing to have him if he promised to be kinder and willing to work together with others. Though Phantom scoffed at the idea, Anios took the opportunity to attack him off guard and swiftly defeat him. He later awakened to find Goby tending to him. Weakened and "finally having some sense knocked into him," Phantom's arrogance was taken down a peg as he was forced to remain with the group until he recovered. Zia talked to him all the while, continuing to speak of performance and storytelling. After recovering, Phantom opted to stay with the group, thanks to Zia reminding him why he had joined in the first place. He's since returned to his old, passionate self, save for the fact that he's since realized that managing the troupe was a team effort. He's currently responsible for developing the troupe's choreography and special effects, as well as being one of the group's prominent performers. |

Anios Thanks to his defeat in one swift blow, Phantom learned to respect the battle hardened Ridgeback - even if it's admittedly out of some fear. He takes care not to offend her, carefully choosing his words and quickly taking back any comments he thinks might've evoked her anger. Anios sometimes takes advantage of this, frightening Phantom for her amusement; it's not every day one can fluster the "unfazeable" Phantom. It's all generally banter, however, and the two manage to coexist just fine. Although Anios made the offer to formally train him, the Wildclaw has no interest in partaking in real combat on a regular basis. Instead, he observes and partakes in Anios' training to familiarize his movements as a means of mapping out performance combat. Valor Initially, the two couldn't stand each other - Phantom despised Valor's personality, believing him to be too loud and reckless, while Valor couldn't stand Phantom's snobbishness, perceiving him as underhanded and cowardly. Anios eventually sought to solve their constant bickering by challenging them both to defeat her in combat. The two had a rough start in this endeavor, but teaming up enough times forced them to acknowledge each other's strengths and weaknesses, eventually allowing them to overcome Anios. Since then, the two have become close and are often found sparring or performing together. |
