A young water mage with a renowned, powerful family history, from early on it was known that Thaumas held high magickal potential. He holds an efficient command of the tides, and his moods seem to have somewhat of an effect on the weather and tides in his immediate vicinity.

He holds a position in Clan Umbra's coven, but is rarely in Umbral Territory these days, as more important work calls to him: answering the call to aid in the search for the missing Tidelord, alongside his friend Cadmus and a small handful of travelling companions.

Whenever heading out on an expedition, Thaumas and his crew have made it a tradition to visit his elder sister, Nephelai, with gifts in tow; hoping to ensure safe travels on the Thousand-Current Sea.

He is young, and can be rather foolish, but something about his presence is a comfort to others, as if safely cradled and treading water in a warm, bright sea. If nothing else, Thaumas is a shoulder to lean on and a source of unwavering positivity among this rather bleak clan.
