Biography
sparkling goblin
A menace lurking in the depths of Starhome, Stygiore has proven themselves to be the epitome of destruction and chaos. With the power of lightning running through their veins, Stygiore often releases uncontrollable waves of electricity through their paws at the surrounding environment. Leaving things scorched in their path, the strange creature has no care for anyone or anything that doesn't benefit themselves. All they care about is survival, and won't stand for anyone that they believe will try to threaten that.
|
Stygiore's origins remain a mystery to Starhome's inhabitants, as though they share the appearance of a gaoler, they do not have any characteristics of a gaoler nor do they seem to be able to communicate with dragonkind. The only thing anyone can do to appease or control the creature is to do so with meat, and it has become a tradition in Starhome to donate a portion of the clan's meat every week to lure the Stygiore away from any lairs. Many have theorized how this creature came to be, but the most commonly believed theory is that Stygiore was trapped underneath a Shifting Expanse reactor until the gaolers emerged. This would cause massive exposure to electrical energy and make them go mad with power by the time they would be able to be released into the world, which would also explain the random fits of electricity the creature would release seemingly involuntary. |

Many dragons have tried to hunt down this beast, but all have failed. Often coming back with scorch marks or not returning at all, the amount of volunteers willing to take on Stygiore has decreased as time passed. As of now, the only advice one could give is to avoid them at all costs, and if you see a sudden lightning storm in the distance, run as far as you can and take shelter. If you hear their howls, it's already too late, and your only option is to pray to your deity that they don't consider you worth killing. |
