Markus

Markus was a child of Thorir and Mercuria. He grew up rather laissez-faire toward life - after his sister Kara was "breed-changed," however, he changed. Markus soon become her protector, doing whatever he could to ensure his defenseless sister remained safe and out of harm's way.

During the final confrontation with the Darkmage, Markus found himself and fellow clanmate Kei overwhelmed by undead dragons. Fleeing into a nearby cavern proved a fatal error, as they ran straight into the maw of the Darkmage's Emperor. Markus later made an appearance in the confrontation among the Darkmage's undead minions, and was freed along with them at the necromancer's death.

Being killed by an Emperor that didn't form naturally, then reanimated by the Darkmage, had the side effect of anchoring his code to the physical plane, and he was later encountered along with Kei by Debugger and Polymerase, who were able to repair their coding enough to restore them (though Markus' code retains some slight distortions, reflected in his current appearance). They now search for Kara's whereabouts.
