Biography
         |
The first born of Nadalin and Tyberion Ibn has a lot to live up to. And frankly it really triggers his anxiety. So he just has nothing to do with it. He loves his family dearly but the expectations make him just want to die. So instead he took up a small apprenticeship with the old carpenter in the Hall and learned how to work with wood. When Fjord eventually left the Hall for his own reasons Ibn was just left with the wood. He now lives in a small cabin on Which Island, far from his stressful family and works with wood. Veronica imports him beautiful wood from all across Sorienth and Ibn enjoys the silence of his craft. He makes small hand crafts mostly. Boxes, tablets, wooden toys and ornaments, decorations that are so delicate and beautiful it seems impossible they should be made of wood at all. He also makes practical things for his clanmates. Bowls and plates, utensils, and the best cutting boards they’ve ever seen. He also works with Blue sometimes to make decorations or forms for his armor or weapons. Blue sees him more than his own family sometimes honestly. Ibn doesn’t have a lot of friends but does consider Veronica a friend despite everything. Or Aisham who often comes by to drop off wood or pick up finished works. Ibn is very fond of Aisham and often times the younger Guardian will spend longer than necessary at Ibn’s place. Just chatting, wasting time, talking about nothing in particular. Ibn is always happy for his quiet solitude but he does admit it is always the loneliest just after Aisham leaves. When it strikes him he goes and spends time with his mother and siblings. |
