A gaoler who grew up without even knowing what a gaoler was, her egg having been stolen in a raid, and passed along hands until it was finally given to a dragon who thought to nest it in the plagued lands. The dragons who raised her saw her as a favourable omen. Some thought she was a tundra mutated by the plague infecting their lands, and some thought she was some kind of magically induced cross between an imperial and a tundra. Either way, she was something unnatural, and they praised this. Eventually she left her home in the scarred wasteland, to see if she could find any others like her... Or at least another tundra, so she knew what she'd look like if she wasn't mutated.
Eventually she found the coatl troupe, and travelled around with them, since the tundras there were friendly, and when they stayed with the dam, so did she. It was only when Polaris arrived that she learned she wasn't a blessing from the plaguebringer, just a misplaced warden.
