It is not uncommon for bandits to make off with eggs from pillaged clans to sell later for a good amount of coin or use as bartering tools. Izio came across a lone bandit dragon looking to pass through Harpy territory safely, he noticed the egg already wrapped in her shawl and offered her a second one to 'keep the other one company.' Not interested in the bandit's business but not willing to just leave the egg in his clutches, she accepted. Hzenthlay hatched just a day after Nithelia and for quite awhile it was just the three of them. Losing her 'mother' hit Hzenthaly hard but she remained strong for her own sake and followed her sisters wherever they went. Hzenthlay is a lot more 'talkative' than most mirrors are and a lot of dragonkind views her as odd for this reason. Her sisters still love her for who she is and will quickly silence anyone who tries to make Hzenthlay feel insecure about it.
Her fondest memories involved Izio teaching her all about Harpy culture and their war with dragonkind, she would draw the stories out in the sand for the young mirror to follow as she always had more trouble learning how to read than her sisters. Now she draws and creates sand art for teaching purposes and on her own whims.
