Hannu and Irja were still relatively new parents, and they had heard of variations in mixed breed pairings, and hers was the last egg to be formed. They just didn't expect to have it happen with one of their nests. Perhaps it was a random flux of magic, or an oversight by the Icewarden – it wasn't clear. What was clear was that her family adored her, just the same as they did for all of their children. Trying to find her place in the world has been a bit difficult for Sanna and she is grateful of her supportive family. But when you outgrow your own parents – even Aina – it does bring up certain questions. Am I alone in the world? Sanna had no answer for this and until she reached young adulthood. With her ever-growing size, Sanna discovered a knack at warding off most monster attacks through bluffing – long canines and a deep growl were enough for the smaller beasts to scurry off. She had no real experience with fighting, especially not up close with creatures her own size. So when a Hoarfrost Mauler attacked the den, Sanna was desperate to protect her family, even if it meant fighting blindly. Her family soon joined in in an effort to help – a fruitless endeavor. Then a giant white beast seemed to appear from nowhere and kill the Hoarfrost Mauler with clean efficiency in a matter of moments, Sanna was instantly wary... and jealous of the strangers' skill. On the other hand, her family were extremely grateful and offered the stranger a home among the clan – they did not share her suspicions. One thing that does offer some relief is the scent of the stranger...
