Biography

"True, we barely connect, in the same way a handful of colored lights won't produce an unified bigger brighter one, but we get by and that is truly invaluable"

One among the various in charge of their own kin within the lair, a Representative, and a provider of luminous equipment and accesories in her spare time. Lumina has never been one to sell herself short.

Lumina grew to win a place in her birth lair, a dragon with a defined destiny in front of her and a goal to become even more once her time at leadership came. All thrown away in a whim for the chance to discover the land away from the bright pillars and stone of her clan.

She was raised into becoming a proper heir and to provide wisdom and knowledge to her people when she grew up, but the tempting call of beyond was far more enticing, "would there be light out there?", "should I carry my own?" those samll questions swam in her mind before going to her parents and asking for permit to explore. She was denied. Harshly. But it didn't deter her from being vigilant to an opening or anything, to get away and explore the lands she had only read from in books and scrolls.

Her chance came with a price, on a small travel between ally territories she decides to sneak away across the Hewn City, it didn't take long for her guards to be fast behind her but she managed to be faster. Eventually closing the distance and reaching the cliffs bordering the water territories. As she glided to lower lands, a shadowy figure striked at her back, making her fall harder than expected and fell unconscious. When she woke up that night she found herself in uncharted land, way far from the Lightweaver's -even her parents'- protection; for the first time she was truly alone, and while it should have felt liberating, she couldn't help but feel scared of the foreign ground under her feet. She laid down that night, tucked inside a small crevice down the cliff she fell from, a broken wing trailing the sand below.

The next day she was found out by a group of scouting dragons from a nearby lightning clan, or as much she could tell. They took her briefly and tended to her injuries, inquiring if she was trying to reach a place in particular and offering to help her there. She refused politely but caught on their distress and their reluctant eyes glancing at her mended wing. They let her rest on that place and moved away wishing her luck on her travels. She shook any bad thought away and went on to discover the new world that was laid before her.

She found her way across the Sea of a Thousand Currents easily with the passage of time, befriending small gatherings of dragons and requesting information in exchange of various tips and notes they might find useful for themselves. Once her wing healed she spent time trying to investigating the odd darkened mark across her left side. She couldn't recall who or what had damaged her like this but watching it make her feel dread in her gut, so she ignored it.

After a long time wandering alone she settled in Bleuspont to keep her mind out issues and to maybe gather some peace, she found the clan still healing from old discussions and choose to help out in any way she could. After all was settled and arranged as best as possible she got elected to become a Representative for Light dragons within the clan, she found it ironic at first, after all she did try to escape from ever taking leadership in her birth clan but after spending time fixing and providing for this new lair made her feel more at home than she ever felt back then.

During the time of her moving in, coincidentially the time the lair decided to move to the underwater hollow cave, she provided the first form of illumination and light to the lair, by channeling her magic into baubles and bulbs of various sizes, later teaching other light kin the appropiate and most effective way to do so, and she didn't have to do it all by herself. This small but important task made her appreciate and understand the feeling of being needed and to be responsible for her clanmates well being.

A curious thing about her light magic, is how the lighted spheres she provides tend to fade quickly when she feels overwhelmed or in a bad situation, they get "clouded" and the mist seeps off the tight sealed glass, staining the walls as if they were puffs of smoke and coal, they have no smell or any sort of bad effect but it's an odd thing to observe whenever it happens.
