Dear Diary,

I guess this is it! The day I've been waiting for forever! After growing up hearing the stories of mom and dad's adventures, watching Thyme, Octavia and Wyrakor leave, and hearing the stories of everyone passing through Windkeep Tower, it's finally my turn to leave home and have my own adventures! I hardly know where to go, I mean, there's a whole world out there and I can go anywhere!

I suppose most of all, what I really want most is to have my own stories to tell. Windkeep Tower is great, but adventures mean stories, and I'd love to have something to tell the kids and grandkids someday.

So, this is it. From this day forward, my life will never be the same. I can't wait to find out what I am going to learn, and who I am going to become.

I have no particular goals in mind for him, so feel free to give him whatever story you desire, breed him, train him, absolute anything. The only thing I ask is that you please don't exalt him because while I know from the moment I send him out, he's no longer mine, the past two traveling dragons I've sent out have been exalted and it's taken about a year for me to work up the excitement to send out another. Other than that, go wild! Give him an adventure!)

Dear Diary,

I found my way to Carrion Canyon, the higher territory of the Lightning Flight. The landscape here is a bit... shocking, considering there's not a lot here besides rocks and generators. The nearby crackling of the Lightning farm is sort of unsettling, but once I travelled deeper into the canyon I couldn't really hear it anymore.

I found a lair that said they'd take me in for the time being. There was no clear leader, it almost seemed like they'd never thought to build themselves a clan hierarchy. The oldest resident, a Mirror called Arsani, lead me around the cave they all called home. There were plenty of mates here, and even more hatchlings waiting to strike out on their own. Two dragons that really caught my eye were Kumo and Reverie. Their colors and scales were entrancing, it's like they took the night sky and jammed it into their scales!! They told me that they were mating to create more dragons with their unique gene work and colors, that everyone should know they exist. I really liked them, they were super nice!

I spent a couple days with these dragons, and decided that while this group was very enjoyable to be around, I couldn't stop hearing the constant crackling of electricity! I'll be off on my next journey soon, I'll write back when I can!

Dear Diary,

I decided not to go too far from home yet this time, just in case I forgot anything else. I snuck out under cover of darkness, to see how far I could get before dawn, but then I thought I saw something streak across the moon. I turned to follow it and got clipped by what might have been another imperial, but they were gone too fast to be sure. I may have also gotten disoriented in the tumble, who can say.

Once I straightened up I noticed a fire and several dragons; a new clan! It turns out leaving in the middle of the night might just make you sleepy, so I landed to try and ask for shelter for the rest of the night. The clan leader was very welcoming, and let me stay in one of their guest dens.

In the morning I learned I had landed in a place called Tundra Hollow, which was pretty aptly named. There were so many of them! Even a few of their wilder cousins, though I steered clear of them. They were pretty nice, even if they shed everywhere. But the world is wider than Wind territory. Here's hoping I don't get distracted again!

Dear Diary,

Guess what! I got distracted, and the next thing I knew, I was home again! Gosh, I can't seem to get away from this place can I? But it was great to visit my family and friends again, and I even met a gaoler on a very important gaoler secret mission!!! I actually got to help him in his quest, so I'm basically a hero now!

Also, he introduced me to the wonders of blueberry pie. I think I've found my new favourite food!

I'm glad I came home again, but it's time for me to move on and have a real adventure, like my new friend Ulf!
