Zera the Prisoner

I. Zera once lived in the same clan as Karayan. While they weren't friends or anything, they did know each other and would sometimes even go hunting together. Unbeknownst to her, Karayan harbored a secret longing for this Spiral. He was constantly trying to win her affections, but Zera was unaware.

Once day, Zera found herself visited by Karayan in her den. They talked about the politics of their clan for a while, and Zera found that despite this Ridgeback's eccentric personality, she enjoyed his company. When Karayan announced his love for her, Zera was reluctant at first. However, she did see his true love for her and decided that she could give it a try. After all, what could go wrong?

Zera and Karayan spent the rest of their time in the clan together, hunting and just trying to discern what their partner wanted. As they continued their courtship, Zera noticed a possessive streak within the Ridgeback's personality. He would barely let her out of his sight, and was always hesitant to let her speak to other male dragons, lest they steal her from him.

II. Karayan visited Zera once more, expressing sorrow for the way he treated her and asking forgiveness for what he was going to do. When Zera asked what, he lunged forward pinning her to the ground, tied her talons and wings with rope and tossed her into a sack.

Zera tried to escape. But whatever Karayan had tied her claws with, she wasn't able to cut through. She spent all her time in this sack: in the dark, in the cold and in fear. Zera didn't know where they were going, but as the days passed she knew it was far from her home. Karayan would take her out of the sack to feed her, but never answered any questions.
When they'd finally stopped their journey, Zera found that they were in the Sea of a Thousand Currents. She didn't know what to do when Karayan left her chained to a rock at the edge of the sea in a hidden alcove for nearly four months. He came back to feed her occasionally, but she almost never saw him. Finally, Karayan returned with a male Tundra in Fiendish Emerald attire. The two males took her into the sea, where Zera eventually learned that the time Karayan was away from her was spent earning the trust of the Empire of the Moonlit Waves.

III. Zera was quickly thrown into Karayan's den. The Ridgeback wrapped her talons and wings with chains disguised as Lovely Seraph Jewelry. The Tundra helped him, and Zera was forced to bow at Karayan's feet, who had become a member of the First Brood. Zera's existence was kept a secret between the two males; a secret that the rest of the clan could never know about.

So Zera lives in Karayan's den as a prisoner and slave. Each day, she is forced to serve at his feet and lives in a gilded cage where her freedom is out of reach. She sings songs of praise and loyalty to her captor. Now that Karayan is a member of the First Brood, he demands that Zera refers to him as "my lord" or "most esteemed one".

Despite such cruel methods of keeping her in line, Zera is still in love with Karayan and vice versa. She could even go as far as to say that she enjoys being his prisoner. Being locked up by her "lover" is among the best things she's ever experienced.

Such a twisted relationship between two twisted dragons.
