  what is FRIEND?
Though FRIEND may appear Divine, any hijacker or CONSCIOUSNESSES will find that its code is much more reminiscent of that of a Drone, albeit a very odd, semi-sentient one. FRIEND has several commands coded into it that can not be over ridden without breaking the FRIEND: make its best friend happy, and protect its best friend. These codes, however, can be easily manipulated so the the ‘best friend’ is the drone, dragon, or even object of the coder’s choosing. Once FRIEND has been given a ‘best friend,’ they will attempt to please or cheer up their friend, which can either make them very submissive despite their sentience, if their ‘best friend’ is a Consciousness or Hijacker, or make them function at less than optimal levels if their ‘best friend’ does not show them any sort of affection or favor. If the FRIEND’s ‘best friend’ is killed or destroyed, the FRIEND will shut down until it is given a new ‘best friend,’ though even if it’s previous logs are wiped, it will retain memory of its former ‘best friend.’

This particular FRIEND - the very first FRIEND - takes strongly after its father. It is very sentient, and quite friendly not only to its ‘best friend,’ but also to everyone else it associates with its ‘best friend.’ It goes to great effort to ensure that its ‘best friend isn’t sad or lonely, and it is content to do tasks away from its ‘best friend’ for up to a day before it begins to function sub-optimally and act lonely or nervous.

FRIEND likes to talk with its ‘best friend’, or even other creatures it views as friends. It will chat about anything, even if it does not get any sort of verbal response. It also enjoys physical contact, and will attempt to nuzzle or cuddle its ‘best friend’ or things it views as cute. If its ‘best friend gives off any sort of distress call, FRIEND will attempt to assist, though it is hesitant to become violent unless ordered.

FRIEND is the second drone that VEX has taken control of, however he seemed to require less reprogramming on VEX's part than V673.Dr01. FRIEND is incredibly loyal to VEX, and apparently has designated the hijacker as his "Best Friend." He is sentient, but doesn't seem to be incredibly intelligent. VEX has informed me that it can utilize FRIEND as a sort of... proxy, in order to connect to the Base Wavelength, though his abilities as a hijacker are incredibly limited through FRIEND.

It's interesting, nevertheless.
