Found by ShardMolt and Helraeys while they explored the Southern Icefield Maraagin was found as a small, freezing hatchling less than a day old and was immediately snapped up by Helraeys and placed into the pouch on the skydancer's side. The pair immediately flew to the camp they were staying in at the time to get her warmed up and to hopefully get her to eat something.
After spending a bit under a week with the pair Maraagin flew back to the Wispwillow Grove with them, refusing to leave Helraeys side for Thicc. She was grown enough they decided to allow her to stay with Hel and be taken on as her apprentice.
Some who don't know her origin believe that Maraagin is actually Helraeys child due to the fireflies that stay close around her, her quiet nature, and ice eyes that some mistake for blindness inherited from Hulrune. 		tumblr_inline_ptq51xDZU41rotg8c_1280.png
