Biography

|| Sirha ||
Genuine, Capable, Curious, Boisterous, Rash, Dense

Sharpened Serthis Lance Intricate Weaving Honeycomb Fragment Crushed Petals Sirha and her brother Jox reside on the ocean cliffside of the Reedcleft Acent. Their lair is carved into the side of a cliff and would be hard to spot if not for its numerous curtained windows. Spools of woven fabric and lanterns hang from them in decoration, and they let in dappled sunlight and salty breezes. Intricate tapestries crowd the humble lair, some in the making while others frayed with time. They cushion the lair's rocky floors and brighten it with warm hues. Burnt candle wicks and the earthy scent of fabric fills the lair.

To the nearby village they're known as somewhat strange, slightly threatning, but otherwise friendly tapestry weavers. They visit the village occasionally to sell their wares but mostly stick to themselves

Sirha loves chatting with anyone she finds, hearing about their history, their travels, or even just their favorite food. She enjoys learning about anything and everything, and is especially facinating by different cultures and folklore. Her room is strewn with battered scolls and dog-eared tomes she's collected over the years. Oftentimes, she'll take a good story or book as payment for one of her tapestries as well.

Her exuberant demeanor is intoxicating to other dragons, although it can be a bit overwhelming as well. She can get wrapped up in the moment sometimes and forget others, but if brought to her attention she'll apologize and try to fix it. Under all those teeth and talons she just a soft mound of fur.

Other Traits
~ has a muscular but lanky build with a whip like tail and a thin snout. Pelt is riddled with numerous scars.

~ her fur is rugged and her mane is often matted. The webbing on her wings is slightly tattered.

~ Her ears are thin and have long lynx tufts at ends.
Trivia
~ Has a big ole sweet tooth. Loves to put honey on literally every food, and will sometimes just eat straight honeycombs. Her fur can get sticky and matted because of this.

~ Her familiar's name, Tap, is short for Tapestry. Jox begged her to name Tap something else, anything else but Sirha would not be convinced. Tap had wandered into their lair when he was only a kitten, and got himself tangled up in a bundle of tapestries that were in the making. Tap often "helps" Sirha and Jox when they're weaving Tapestries and/or scarves by laying directly on them.

~ Though she is a very adept fighter she has also has very gentle and dexterious hands. She loves small animals and plants and takes great care not to damage them in any way. She particularly likes songbirds and gets overjoyed whenever one lands on her horns.

~ Sirha has a lovely singing voice. Scratchy and deep, but pleasantly so. If the village is having a festival or a bon fire, she's often asked to sing and is more than happy to do so.

~ Sirha is clingy as hell and constantly asking for cuddles. Luckily Jox more often than not is happy to comply. Often she, Jox, and Tap will form a cuddle pile next to the fire place, all wrapped up in blankets. She's a touchy-feely dragon in general, but with her friends she's just relentless.

~ Likes to hang things from her horns. Strings of ivy, or rings of flowers. Braided threads with beads woven through. Whenever she and Jox go to the village to sell their tapestries, they'll usually just hang them on Sirha's horns.

~ Although she and Jox have settled in the Windswept Plateau, Sirha often itches to travel. Its not enough just to read about things, she wants to see them and experience. Feel foreign soil under her pads, hear odd dialects, and listen to unknown tales. Jox is content wrapped up in a wool blanket with his snout in a book, but Sirha needs more than that. She goes on bouts of traveling for months at a time, sometimes with Jox and sometimes without.

History
Eye Agate Analogous Pigment Blend Spare Material Sirha used to be a Keeper stationed at a prison hiden underground within the Sunbeam ruins. The prison was isolated. The prisons tunnels are held up by the gnarled roots of pines, and occasional openings let in mottled light. The musky odor of grime and dust hangs in the air and sticks to gaolers' pelts.

But it was home, and it was the only home Sirha ever knew. She was aware that more existed outside the prison, but she wasn't permitted to leave. She was told only what she needed to know to perform her duty. So she guarded what needed to be guarded, she ate only what was alloted to her, and she didn't question what need not be questioned. It wasn't good and it wasn't bad, it was just life.

That was until she met Jox. Jox who was her brother. Jox who she didn't know was her brother because she wasn't told. That's when she started questioning. Questioning herself and the world and other gaolers. But most of all, questioning why she was never told more. It felt as though a spark had lit in her chest, making something bright rush through her veins. She itched to know more with her whole being.
And Jox had answers. Not all of the answers sure, but he always considered her questions genuinely and never called them stupid or uneccessary. No, he encouraged her questioning, and even proposed questions himself. Because Jox had been outside. Just once, just briefly, but that was enough. He knew there was more, and he wanted it. He wanted out.

Sirha thought this was a little extreme at first. Leaving? Leaving and never coming back the only world she'd ever known? She couldn't wrap her head around the concept. But the more she visited Jox (secretly, mind you) the more she questioned, and the more she noticed. Noticed how Jox's pelt was often scratched. Fur roughed up. Limping. The few times she saw him while on duty, his head was bowed. And his eyes, his curious and mischievious eyes, were absolutely hollow.

Never had she wanted to leave anywhere so immediatly.

So they escaped the prison. Then they traveled and saw all the things they never imagined they'd see. Traveled the Sunbeam Ruins, trecked through The Shifting Expanse, crossed the Sea of a Thousand Currents, and finally settled in The Windswept Plateau where they now reside.
