Rhaella

"You are different now," her father's voice echoed in the frigid air. "You are grown," it seemed to her that he sounded sad, but he was always mostly unreadable. She looked up at him, and he gave her a small, friendly head bump. "Unlike your brother, you cannot join the stars, but the stars will always be in your blood."

Rhaella is a creature of two worlds. Her mother, with the help of the clan shaman and blood magic, called down a constellation from the skies above their home den. Her father, however, could not sustain form for long, and Rhaella has seen him only infrequently. While she herself does not have the ability to shed her earthly form and coalesce in the skies, several of her siblings do. However, the wanderlust swims in her blood, and she wishes to roam the earth as her father roams the sky. She begins her journey now, eager to see what she may see.

Met an eerie creature on her travels. A riddle or two later, she was allowed to pass over a thin bridge leading to a strange island.

Along her travels she ran into a clan in the ice, where the sky's met the earth, and seemed to light up in an array of colours. It was a strange sight to behold, but it gave her comfort as she continued along her travels. The clan that resided in the mountains here, were kind ad caring to her, offering her a temporary home as she regained her energy and prepared for the next leg of her journey. When all was said and done, they bid her farewell but said she was always welcome to visit whenever she wished.

Rhaella had come upon a light clan bordering the coast. It was a large clan, with more than 50 inhabitants, all of which were quite... odd. She was welcomed by the leader, & quickly was invited to a feast held in celebration of the traveler's arrival. There she met a few peculiar dragons, one of which is named Spacecreaft & said to have drifted among the stars for quite a bit of time. She told him about her family, & how she is part of the stars. Knowing this, Spacecreaft was overcome with a combination of fascination & sadness. A few days after her arrival, Rhaella met another dragon, Magnus. He initially kept his distance, swearing that his interest in her was purely one of curiosity of her travels. (newsflash, it wasn't) Once the two got talking though, Magnus talkin' about his misadventures in space among the Lost Light, & Rhaella, about the different lands shes seen & knowledge of the skys, Magnus knew that something else was afoot. The two eventually fell in love & had a small nest of 2. After, she felt the urge to move on again to lands unknown.

"Let me see you," her mother trilled, gliding forward to touch foreheads with her daughter. "You may be tied to the earth, but you roam as surely as your father. It's all over you."

Rhaella embraced her mother, inhaling the familiar, somehow reassuring smell of her homeland. To many, of course, it was repugnant and off putting, but for Rhaella it would always spark memories of safety. She bent down to greet her newest siblings as they clamored for her attention. Looking up, she caught the morose look in Xochaiia's eyes. "I will stay only for the naming of the leaders' children," Rhaella said, "and then I must leave again."

A calm breeze blew around her as she stood on a floating platform of an ancient lair in the Cloudsong on the Windswept Plateau. Swaying gently on one of the many connecting walkway. Watching the kites fly. She smiled thinking how much her Father would love it here.
"Hello." A soft voice said.
She turned to see a delicate Skydancer.
"Are you new here?" She asked cocking her head.
"Just passing through." Rhaella said, "I had to see the kites. You truly do have one of your God."
"Windsinger." The dragon nodded. "My names Sicily, If you have no where to go you should join my clan until you're ready to leave. Come. You can still se the kites from our Lair. What's your name?"

"Who's this?" A Fae asked as they enter. He had a quiet dignity.
"A traveler named Rhaella. I invited her to stay."
"Wonderful." As he spook three dragons stumbled in. Bruised and bloody. "A bad day at the Coliseum? Come." He closed his eyes and a soothing green aura radiated out of him and surround each bruise and scratch. The tensions drained from the dragons and when the green dissipated they were healed.
"How did you do that?" Rhaella asked in awe.
His eyes opened. "It's hard to describe, but I could teach you."
"Really?"
"It be my pleasure."

"Must you go?" Sicily asked sadly.
"It's time. The restlessness is growing. And Torquil say he's taught me all he can."
"I'll miss you."
"I'll miss you to. I've never had a true friend."
"You have one now."
