Biography

Echopraxia - The Mimic

Unlike most Nocturne dragons, Echopraxia mirrors the body language, gestures, and actions of other dragons instead of personality traits, occasionally adopting the gestures that she mimics if she likes them. Her personality is that of a quintessential Lightning Dragon: a quick, intuitive dragon who loves tinkering, inventing, and creating new machinery and gadgets. Her manic laughter can often be heard echoing through the halls, especially when her newest project is coming along beautifully, and nobody has actually seen her sleep.

Unsurprisingly, Echopraxia consumes more Java Sparrows than any of her clanmates/colleagues, and has her own separate stash.

Arrived at roughly the same time as Murrey.

Has a weekly quota for the number of Java Sparrows she can requisition each week.

No one's too sure how she managed to get her familiar.

Note: Her fixes shouldn't work. Yet they do! How does duct tape act as the equivalent of soldering a crack?! AARRRRGGGGHHH! - Stormsurge

  • Echopraxia loves eating Java Sparrows, to the point where she has her own stash. If given sufficient amounts of Java Sparrows, she can move fast enough that she looks like she's teleporting.
  • Of course, if she were to get her hands on the required amount of java sparrows, the Phrontistery would have to be evacuated.
  • Echopraxia is really, really good at jury rigging machinery. She's basically a Spark from Girl Genius (or a Tinker from Worm), except with a better grasp on reality and more mundane abilities.
  • Surprisingly enough, she actually has a pretty good grasp of lab protocol.
  • If you give her an accordion, she will happily play it. If you give her a cornet, she will also happily play it, with various other contraptions playing the 76 trumpets required to accompany it.

Exalting Echopraxia to the service of the Stormcatcher will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
