Mista comes to the clan with Yepa, following the lead to Dash, who has not returned. The clan (especially Talon) are not sure what to make of the two and as a result are leery of their presence. Though, with the numerous reports of the Ancient Gaolers showing up in different dragon lairs they are curious as to why the duo showed up on theirs. As of yet they haven't fully explained why they came looking for their lost librarian, but the truth of the matter is they are looking for the knowledge that Dash has collected on the Shade. Yepa is as uncertain about the clan as they are of her, though the younger Mista seems excited about learning something new. Thus far the elder of the two has managed to hold her back. In time they will realize they are on the same page when it comes to the shade. Yepa & Mista have noted that the smell of the Shade is none existent here and any that bear the smell are those that have recent come in from somewhere beyond the boarders. For now they wait, getting closer to Casey and Ezekiel in the hopes they could provide them with answers. (Mista's young, which might explain why she hasn't really taken notice of Ezekiel or Shady's Shade taint yet. Or it could be that both have been mostly cleansed of it that she assumes they are just like everyone else. It does not, however, explain why Yepa seems to not notice it. Her attention isn't so much on the Shade tainted in the clan as it is with the Clan matron and the strange priests of the region.)

Shortly after setting up thier own lair in the territory the pair is handed a wind egg. Unwilling to just let the egg rot, Yepa tends to it with the intention of returning it to the clan. Much to her surprised the egg hatched earlier then expected and produced a Gaoler cub. A wind Gaoler cub. This was highly unusual, mostly because the Gaolers hadn't been around long enough to create eggs in others deities regions. Meaning, the egg that they received must have been stolen. Likely from the clan they were now making their home in. Yepa left the care of the cub to Mista (which was more for her amusement then anything else) and went searching for what happened. She discovered that the egg had been stolen from a couple from the clan and not just any couple, one of the clan's Enforcer leaders and one of his mates. They had both been devastated that their first eggs had 'rotted'. They had lost both eggs, but they had only received one. There might be another egg out there. She still did not know who took the eggs, but she's looking for the answer. Until then, she has committed to raising the boy as her own. Letting the parents know would not look good for her or Mista, being as the relationship between them and the clan is strained at best. Having one of their cubs mysteriously land in their laps would not make any good impressions.

Mista, meanwhile, has her hands full with the free spirited and fun loving youth that is constantly wandering off and into trouble. Her previous mission is almost completely forgotten to focus on trying to keep the small dragon alive. She swears Yepa did that on purpose so she could laugh.
