Dalton is a Yolsh, serving at the rank of eight. He is highly respected and widely known for his past endeavours. Most notably, his participation in the battles against the Howling Horde and the chaos of the Trade Revolution.
One of the finer fighters in the Yolshen Institution, Dalton is a force to be reckoned with. He prefers an aggressive style of combat, heavily reliant on brute strength and power. Dalton is a Chord General. A Yolsh of outstanding quality will manage their own Chord, a Chord being a collection of Yolshen fighters. Dalton is General to over nighty fighters, but is also obedient to his own Chord ran by Hayden of ten strikes. Winifred is mildly aware of Dalton, but sees him as misplaced in her order. If not for Wexle, the appointed Voice of the Yolsh, Winifred may have had him removed. Dalton is close friends with Celia, often seeking her out for a chat, or simply to give her work. Either way, they never fail to cause some form of trouble together. Despite his calm demeanour, Dalton has a fearsome temper locked away. Very rarely does this get unleashed, but when it does, blood runs thick. This potential craze could be why Winifred sees him as misplaced, for the Yolsh are to serve dispassionately in the name of Locket’s Law. Such emotions may effect their judgement. |

Trivia:
What happened to his horn? -Damaged in combat with Wexle. He fought against her when she attempted to bring him to justice for desertion. Shuck didn't believe in the leadership of higher class creatures, and blamed them for the conflict with Mandus. Why does Ludwig respect his bloody past? -Ludwig always relied on Shuck's abilities in combat and was disheartened when Shuck lost control. Ludwig wants to see Shuck fight again but Shuck fears that he will fall into madness once more. The others seem dismissive of him, why? -Very few Kivouachians look favourably on Shuck, they see him as an attack dog and since his retirement from brutality, see him as a fifth wheel. Helgan particularly feels like this and she has even called for him to be killed. Lucy, Ludwig and the older creatures still respect him for his deeds in combat. What does he do in his spare time? He drinks with Lucy in the forests, he also has a huge affinity for Chess, he's the unbeaten champion since his first game in 6th century India. |
