ＢＩＯＧＲＡＰＨＹ

His face was rotten, the flesh torn and corroded to expose his skull.
His red eyes still peeking through the bone and what remained of his flesh.

Such a lovely sight.

Born in Rotrock Rim, Bloodstone was always fascinated by the Wyrmwound. That never-ending pit of disease, bubbling like a brew in a witches cauldron.

Such fascination eventually became obsession.
The drake spent years setting altars and offerings to the Plaguebringer: anything to please his mother goddess. He saw beauty in Her corruption, purity in this vile wasteland. And his only wish was to become the test subject of Her experiments.

Once, during a celebration of the Riot of Rot, this wish was granted.
And throwing his body to the Wyrmwound like a juggernaut, the wildclaw was finally consumed by the devilish brew.

As he emerged, the viscous liquid splattered, infecting others with rot and disease. Bloodstone flapped his wings, ripping open jaws molten shut, and letting out a joyful shriek.
His body changed faster than he was able to perceive. Flesh rotting, bones exposed. His crystalline skin becoming a wounded mess.

As the drake spiralled in the air, bathing in his newly decayed glory, the surrounding dragons also changed. Some avoided the contagion, but the vast majority had parts of their body rot and corrode, or were totally transformed into aberrations.
The pain was unimaginable, but so was the joy that came with it.
