Biography

Taking gasping breaths, Tahti awakens from a personal hell. Before she can even begin to process the shreds of memories tearing around her head like a swarm of crystal stingers a gentle pressure is placed upon her back. She instantly is brought to the present, not yet calmed but quieted. She knows the downy weight, and has felt it a thousand times. The wing of her mate gently pulls her into an embrace. Varja is a veteran of many things, including keeping the nightmares at bay. She feels his conscience flitting on the edges of hers, assessing and still after all these years asking permission to assist. She allows him to sweep the shards of painful memories to the edges of her mind and guide her to shallower waters. She is free, she is in Mistwood, she is safe.
