Biography
He/Him
Once an enemy to plague, love bloomed between him an Crow and now serves as a knight only to his beloved.
For the sake of his lore he was abandoned as an egg, this has nothing to do with his FR Game parents I bought him off its just how I wanted to write his lore ;w;;
"Huh?"
There is a pause to the dainty steps of one of the smaller Skydancers in the travelling group of mercenaries.
"What is it now" Growled another, his voice dark and rough with years of battle cries and misuse. He was their leader, a scarred and hardened Guardian.
The Skydancer leaps into the brambles and after several moments of wriggling re-emerges with a large object, sprouted like a seed clutched in her taloned grasp. Any dragon with any sense to them would know exactly what it was at a single glance.
"An Egg! Look- someone left this poor babe all alone"
"Put that back!" The Guardian growls darkly at his subordinate lurching forward to bare his terrible teeth.
"Oh you heartless jerk, there's nobody out here... "
"Doesn't matter. Leave it before--"
As if on cue a small crack snaked it's way across the shell and the egg bounced in the delighted Skydancer's grasp.
"Oh... it must have reacted to the passive magic surrounding us" A lazy sounding new voice emerges from the pack leaning forward to press his ear against the egg listening to the first churps of the still yet unborn hatchling. As soon as he takes his head away the egg squirms further and with considerable effort the child inside is born.
"It's..."
"Oh my..."
"Ugh it had to be one of those."
The sound of claws clambering against hard packed soil bounced amongst the whispers of deep green leaves and lush dense vegetation. The scuffle lasted for a few moments longer before a dull Thunk! disturbed the relative peace of the woods.
"Not good enough!" Rumbled the old, scarred guardian looming over top of the small young Imperial.
The Imperial grunted in pain as he slowly got back to his feet on quivering legs only to be pushed back down by a powerful clawed blow.
Above him the Guardian stared down at the younger with malice, his gaze piercing dispute his old age.
"Tch....weak, I told the others it wasn't worth it." The Guardian growled kicking up dirt with his tail as he swiveled and started padding back down the forested trail that led back to their camp for the night.
"W-Wait!" The young Imperial calls out desperately struggling in the dirt to get his bruised body back on his four legs again.
The Guardian huffs loudly not sparing him a glance as he continues forward.
"If you can't fight you are useless to me. Begone brat! you are no longer welcome. "
The Imperial swallows back his tears at the harsh words but he knows that kind of reaction is exactly what the leader was hoping for. The pain of being abandoned crushes him, but instead of shattering something else happens. Something that was once small and helpless inside him breaks.
He sucks in a deep shuddering breath, and uses it to push his emotions deep down inside, Stores it into a little glass jar that had just formed inside his heart.
He stands tall despite the pain of numerous cuts and poorly healed injuries from his rough training searing against his flesh. He stares darkly at the retreating Guardian.
In a flash he's right behind the old dragon, and maybe... perhaps because the other underestimated him he went unseen as he leaps onto his back and buried his teeth deep into the thick hide of his back.
The Guardian yowls in pain attempting to twist and shake the Imperial off of him. It takes a tremendous amount of effort to get him back pinned the ground, hissing a snarling like a cornered animal under the Guadian's heavy weight to his ribs.
In the imperials eyes, finally burned the intense hatred and determination he expected from any great warrior. He stares down at him expressionless for a long terrible moment before he smiles with crooked teeth.
