Biography

He/Him

Write lore :^)

Basic concept is being a seer like mage, able to read omens around himself and gain their meanings inorder to protect the clan from dangers in the waste lands.

"It's a bad omen isn't it..." a timid voice whispers in a frantic manner. The drip-drip of a damp stone home echoing around the curled pair.

"You fret so much my dear" Another chuffs, the vibrations of such a noise comfort to the newly born.
"For once in your life can't you count your blessings?" It continues with a purr. There's a long pause, full of terrible doubt, worry, and pain... then understanding. Love...

"Our child" The first voice finally croaks.
☆☆☆☆☆

"Mama?"

"Yes my love?"

There is a pause to the scuff of little paws scrambling after the much larger figure. The older slows to a halt as well looking back at her son patiently. It takes him a moment squirming under the intense weight of trying to formulate his words correctly.

"Why do... the other hatchlings avoid me?" The small dragons gaze ever observant, notices the way his mother freezes like she is struck by lightning.

She tries to brush off her rash, uncontrollable sadness at having to answer a question that carried so much weight. She gazes into his eyes and sees that he won't take anything but the real truth.

"You are... different... and sometimes other's don't understand that." She swallows heavily before leaning her great neck down to nuzzle him, a deep throaty purr following suit.

"But different, isn't a bad thing." She mumbles softly giving him a final lick, slicking back his unruly mane.
The small Imperial chuffs unhappily but his pouting over the impromptu cleaning slowly gives way to pondering.

He is different
☆☆☆☆☆

By the time the young dragon was of age and given his proper name he knew all too well what different meant.

Crow lounged by himself on one of the craggy juts of stone over looking his clans lair. His tail lazily traced the smoothed edges of pale stone, reading the small whispers of insight etched into their very being.
Below him the many different Imperial's who called this small corner of wasteland home, buzzed about with their busy lives. One of his ears swiveled and perked hearing rough foot falls behind him.

"Tch, lazing about again."

It was one of the older males, a generation or so before him. Said male growled throatily snapping his jaws in Crows direction when the dark colored dragon ignored his very presence.

"You have a job to do don't you? Clam digging in the creek if I remember correctly." He hissed getting close into Crows face.

"Mmn... I found this shell." Crow mumbles twirling the shell over and over, flipping between beautiful ripples of pink pearlescent bands to ghastly mutated purples and crusted ridges of disease. He finally lands on the ugly side, gazing thoughtfully.

"It told me that if we were to eat these clams a great illness would over run us." Crow continued in monotone seeing the way the older dragon just rolled his eyes and scoffed.

"You're a lazy freak is what that shell is telling me" He growls turning sharply away.
"I'm certain the elder would love to hear about how much you're slacking off again." He bites out behind him as he scales back down the rocks.

Crow hums thoughtfully at that, however once the larger dragon was out of eyesight allows himself a hearty little chuckle.

That dinner time he is very careful to pick around any of the clams gathered that day, and like he predicted half the clan suffered terrible food sickness the following day.
