______ A fine and delicate lady with an affinity for silks and jewellery, Cheer is often found at the back of any bloody skirmish, giggling and treating the ensuing violence as a spectator sport. She is a fan of bright sparkling colors, of small animals with wide eyes, and of finding new and exciting ways to quench her bloodthirst without dirtying her soft and pretty skin. Cheer may be blithe and gentle, but beneath the lavishly decorated exterior lies a pride sensitive to any perceived insult, and a heart that can hold a grudge as well as a mother clutching her hatchling. She is forgiving among those she trusts, as few as they are. Cheer plays deceptively friendly and excitable at times, even with dragons she hates, in part because she never wants others to see the ugliness in her, and in part because it can be useful to be seen as foolish.

______ It is difficult to keep up a façade without it bleeding through to the soul beneath. Cheer mostly finds it to be freeing and fun to love and dance and play, and to laugh and make friends. But she is not friendly to a fault. There is a heart of iron beneath her silks. There is fierce unbending love for her brother and her adoptive parents and her mate, and it strengthens her like the most durable suit of armor.
